Defrag and optimize Windows Registry
Keeping your hard drive properly defragged is one of the easiest ways to speed up your system and ensure that everything runs smoothly and quickly.
You can launch the program either via shortcut, Start menu or the command line with "QREGDEFRAG.EXE -defrag". Other command line commands you can use are "-defrag" which operates defrag in "silent mode" and "-noprogresswindow" which hides the progress window during defragmentation. Finally, you can also use "-reboot" which automatically reboots the computer when defragmentation of the registry is complete. If you're using Vista, note that you'll also have to run the program in administrator mode. The big question, as with all defraggers, is does the program operate quickly and does it have a noticable effect? Whether it runs quickly depends on how badly un-defragged your hard drive is and of course, how big it is. Generally, the program runs at an impressive speed, especially under Vista but it doesn't seem to make any particularly impressive speed improvements. However, it does make programs open slightly quicker and presents a full report on defragged files.
A quick and speedy defragger that helps programs open faster and allows you to see at a glance, those files that are slowing your system down.

Did not work and messed up my registry.
tried it... no improvement and left with a messed-up registry.
Submenu in outlook that have disappeared!
My Netgear PCI wireless adapter was not working at reboot.
the verbosestatus that as on... is still on in the registry but is not displaying anything anymore... something changed in the registry but I haven't found what yet!!
My system refused to do the system restore after anyway... so I got stuck with a machine with no improvement and new problems!!!
Pros:
nice interface (that about is really)
Cons:
no improvement in system speed !
not worth trying... really, I have spend more time sorting out the problem created by this software than installing and running it altogether!

Didnt work for me on Vista.
I waited for 45 minutes, but clearly, this had hung during defrag.
I rebooted, and tried again, (but waited less time)... same problem.
Thier forums have 0 posts in the 'Vista' section.
I figure the product needs to mature some more.
Uninstalled, and moved on.
Pros:
Simple, clean instal, UI, etc
Cons:
Didn't work for me on Vista
Forums / take-up / maturity seems to be a little bit low. More

Amazing.
Honestly, I'm very skeptical about the registry defrag software I try out. Nearly all that I have used have led to no effect and only wasted my time. This piece of software, however, completely defied my logic. The program installed quickly, was very straight-forward, and before I knew it the defragmentation was completed. It caught me offguard at first because the analyzation and creation of the system restore point took longer then the actual defragmentation! I wasn't eve aware that it started defragmenting after I clicked next after the analyzation. It asked to restart the computer and I noticed a serious improvement in shutdown time. Beforehand it took about a minute. Now it took about 20 sec. My registry wasn't even that defragmented as its analyzer stated it wa 9.85% fragmented. Definetly worth trying.
Pros:
-Extremely fast defragmentation(don't know if it was my computer or what)-straightforward-offers system restore point creation and registry backup before defragmentation( must turn on in the options!!)
Cons:
-None whatsoever More
